Five-time Emmy award-winning talent, Marqué, has risen to the heights of his profession as an Artist styling hair for some of the world’s most recognizable faces.  His diverse range of clientele mirrors a who’s who list of fashion, music, television and film such as Tyra Banks, Iman, Barbara Walters and Spike Lee to name a few.  Marqué’s gifts transcend race and his work has been recognized and lauded by mainstream audiences around the world.

“I try to capture my clients for who they are and what their hair can do for them,” says Marqué. “I usually like to talk to them about their lifestyle – where they work, what they do on weekends — so I can get a feel for their personality.  But you have to be realistic, this is what your hair can do, this is it.  Keep it real,” he adds.  Honesty is one of his trademarks, and a hallmark of his humor on screen.

It was Marqué’s quick-witted, sharp, but still warm, unique brand of humor that caught the attention of Producers of television program, The View where Marqué became a regular on camera presence in addition to his work behind the scenes as a hair stylist and beauty professional.  Following red carpet events, Marqué aired his ‘best and worst’ list with pizzazz and offered practical advice on beauty and style for viewers at home for other special segments.
